In the crowded beauty space, Indigenous-owned Cheekbone Beauty stands out by leading with principles

Indigenous-owned cosmetics company Cheekbone Beauty’s definition of success is not based on what can be attained for yourself, but instead in what you give back to your community.

As founder of Cheekbone, #teamSTC alumnus Jenn Harper champions this by staying true to her Anishinaabe roots by creating high quality cosmetic products that are cruelty-free with low environmental impact that also help make a different in the lives of Indigenous youth.

“We have a lot of incredible innovations, ideas, and stories to share. If we can help people figure out how we can all do things better, it will benefit all of us.”

Jenn Harper, CEO of Cheekbone Beauty
Canadian Business - The New Innovators, Feb. 7, 2022

To date, St. Catharines-based Cheekbone Beauty contributes financial towards addressing the educational funding gap for Indigenous youth with donations to date totaling more than $150,000 to a wide variety of causes. Cheekbone is also creating a space in the beauty industry where Indigenous youths feel represented and seen.

We are proud of the work Cheekbone is doing to Lead Change as one of the top Canadian companies forging a more progressive path forward. Cheekbone is among the Canadian Business magazine New Innovators ranking's 10 Best and Brightest, featuring companies that model forward-focused capitalism on several fronts.

Congratulations Cheekbone for all of your successes and achievements.
