Apply now for the next round of Future Black Female Marketplace Bootcamp

Calling all young Black female entrepreneurs: if you’re ready to take your business to the next level apply now to the next round of Future Black Female Marketplace Bootcamp.

Black-women between 18-25 years old who run businesses at the start-up/operational level and can commit 25-45 hours per week, including Saturdays, are eligible to apply to the entrepreneurship program. Successful applicants will gain access to a fully equipped retail/service space at 80 King St., across from St. Catharines Market Square, featuring multiple vendors throughout the program. Successful candidates will also have access to workshops, networking events, coaching and mentoring to foster skills development, including:

·         Entrepreneurial creativity and innovation

·         Opportunity recognition, creation and evaluation

·         Decision making supported by critical analysis and judgment

·         Implementation of ideas through leadership and management

·         Reflection in action

·         Interpersonal skills

·         Communication and strategy skills

·         Resource management
